Contact Details of the Main Regulatory and Quality Assurance Organizations

In this post, we thought it would be useful to give you, in one place, the contact details of the important organizations that you may wish to contact at some point regarding psychometrics (e.g., standards, quality assurance). In a separate Blog, we give some descriptive details of these organizations so that you can fully understand the remit of each organization.

Considering that Selection by Design works closely with the British Psychological Society (BPS) regarding the Quality Assurance of our training programmes, it is useful to start by giving you the contact details of the BPS. As the administration and management of standards and practice in this area is quite a rigorous process, the BPS have a dedicated ‘Psychological Testing Centre: PTC’. If you have specific queries about the BPS and their policies on psychometrics testing, contact the PTC:

Considering that Selection by Design is based in Ireland, it is also important to give you the contact details of The Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). PSI, like the BPS, has policies on psychometrics and testing (e.g., for Guidance Counsellors).
